CIMB telah mengesahkan isu gangguan transaksi kad kredit dalam talian perkhidmatannya telah pun berjaya dipulihkan lewat petang semalam melalui satu kenyataan media yang dikeluarkan;

CIMB Bank Berhad (“CIMB Bank”) and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (“CIMB Islamic”) would like to clarify that they experienced some technical issues, which affected some systems, specifically our online credit card transactions. This has since been rectified. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused to our customers. Our core banking system and customer data remain intact. Customers are still able to perform banking transactions via our CIMB Clicks, CIMB BizChannel and Self Service Terminals.
Insiden ini berlaku tidak sampai kurang dari dua minggu selepas masalah yang berlaku pada perkhidmatan di dalam talian CIMB.
Masalah pembayaran ini turut melibatkan perkhidmatan-perkhidmatan dengan pihak Malaysia Airlines (MAS) turut mengeluarkan kenyataan berkenaan isu ini kepada para penggunanya dan juga untuk memaklumkan kepada pihak CIMB melalui akaun rasmi Twitter syarikat penerbangan berkenaan.
Important Notice: As CIMB is currently experiencing a technical issue with its card payment system, Malaysia Airlines customers are advised to make payment via CIMBclicks or other alternative payment methods available. Customers may refer to CIMB for further updates.

Selain dari MAS, gedung membeli-belah atas talian Shopee turut mengeluarkan kenyataan berkenaan isu ini kepada para penggunanya.
