Sebagai pewaris kepada chipset berkuasa tinggi Snapdragon 835, 845 membawakan pelbagai penambahbaikan.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu penambahbaikannya yang paling menonjol adalah penggunaan modem barunya,\u00a0Qualcomm X20 LTE, yang menawarkan penyambungan rangkaian hingga ke tahap gigabit. Selain itu, ia dijangka akan dihasilkan melalui proses pembuatan 10nm. Sama seperti chipset Snapdragon 835.<\/p>\n<p>Snapdragon 845 akan dibangunkan secara usahasama dengan Samsung Foundry, dan ianya akan membawa pelbagai penambahbaikan dari segi prestasi dan juga kecekapan penggunaan tenaga bateri. CEO Xiaomi, Lei Jun turut mengesahkan Snapdragon 845 akan digunakan pada telefon pintar flagship Xiaomi keluaran berikutnya, Xiaomi Mi 7.<\/p>\n<p>Mengambil kira laptop-laptop Windows 10 yang akan menggunakan chipset Snapdragon 835 seawal tahun hadapan, kemungkinan besar pengeluar-pengeluar PC juga akan menggunakan Snapdragon 845 nanti.
