Namun, ini semua bakal berubah tidak lama lagi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cip Intel\u00a0Atom C3000 terbaru yang diumumkan pada hari Selasa lepas mempunyai bilangan teras sehingga 16 teras dan lebih sofistikated. Ia direka khusus untuk tatasusunan storan (storage array), peralatan rangkaian dan peranti-peranti &#8216;Internet of Things (IoT)&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selain itu, cip terbaru ini turut memiliki ciri-ciri yang sering ditawarkan untuk cip-cip pelayan, termasuklah perangkaian, kemayaan (virtualization) dan pembetulan ralat (error correction).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Peralatan rangkaian dan peranti storan tidak memerlukan jumlah tenaga yang banyak, oleh itu cip pemprosesan Atom yang jimat tenaga ini sememangnya amat bersesuaian. Lagipun, tidak banyak cip pelayan Intel yang mempunyai bilangan teras lebih daripada 16.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kehadiran Intel Atom C3000 selaras dengan pelan jangka panjang Intel dalam memperluaskan penguasaannya di dalam pelayan, IoT dan peranti storan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pada bulan Mei lalu, Intel telah memberhentikan pengeluaran Atom untuk telefon pintar. Barisan-barisan cip berkenaan kemudiannya dikonfigurasikan semula untuk memasukkan cip E3900 untuk peranti IoT. Manakala\u00a0cip T5700 dan\u00a0T5500 chips pula digunakan pada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digikey.com\/en\/maker\/blogs\/intel-joule-intel-s-most-powerful-maker-board\/2458a7fcc2ef4351b872335e30c7b639\">papan pembuat Joule<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Intel Atom C3000 merupakan kesinambungan dari cip C2000 yang pada asalnya mensasarkan penggunaan pada pelayan mikro, peralatan rangkaian dan storan. Cip Atom C2000 baru-baru ini mengalami kepincangan yang boleh menyebabkan pelayan dan peralatan rangkaian tergendala.
