Hal ini disebabkan oleh peralihan drastik industri ke arah pengeluaran cip kecerdasan buatan (AI).<\/p>\n<p>Pengerusi SK Group, Chey Tae-won, menyatakan demikian kepada media di persidangan Nvidia GTC baru-baru ini. Beliau menjelaskan kekangan rantaian bekalan tidak dapat diselesaikan dalam masa yang singkat.<\/p>\n<p>Krisis rantaian bekalan ini berpunca daripada kekurangan wafer silikon untuk membuat cip di dalam industri. Buat masa ini terdapat kekurangan lebih dari 20 peratus berbanding tahap permintaan pasaran.<\/p>\n<p>Masalah kian meruncing apabila syarikat gergasi pengeluar memori seperti SK Hynix, Samsung, dan Micron telah mengalihkan sebahagian besar kapasiti pengeluaran mereka. Tumpuan syarikat tersebut lebih kepada pembuatan cip HBM (High Bandwidth Memory atau Memori Lebar Jalur Tinggi) khusus untuk cip pemecut AI keluaran NVIDIA.<\/p>\n<p>Peralihan fokus telah menyebabkan pengurangan penghasilan cip memori konvensional seperti DRAM (Dynamic Random-Access Memory) yang lazimnya digunakan dalam pelbagai peranti elektronik pengguna.<\/p>\n<p>Walaupun pengeluar sedang giat memperluaskan kapasiti, proses untuk mendapatkan dan menyelaraskan bekalan wafer tambahan akan mengambil masa sekurang-kurangnya empat hingga lima tahun.<\/p>\n<p>SK Hynix kini menguasai kira-kira 57 peratus bagi pasaran HBM global dan 32 peratus untuk keseluruhan pasaran DRAM dunia.<\/p>\n<p>Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif SK Hynix, Kwak Noh-jung akan mengumumkan satu pelan tindakan strategik dalam masa terdekat. Rancangan ini turut melibatkan usaha menstabilkan semula harga pasaran DRAM.<\/p>\n<p>Bagi memenuhi keperluan cip AI, SK Hynix sedang membina lebih banyak kemudahan pengeluaran HBM baharu. Antaranya kilang pembungkusan baharu di Amerika Syarikat .<\/p>\n<p>Walaupun pelan penstabilan harga sedang dirangka oleh pemain utama industri, trend kenaikan harga komponen dilihat sukar dielakkan sepenuhnya kerana lonjakan permintaan sektor AI.<\/p>\n<p>Pengeluar peranti pengguna perlu bersedia menghadapi kos pembuatan yang lebih tinggi.
