Jabatan Siasatan dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik (JSPT) Bukit Aman bekerjasama dengan Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) melancarkan inisiatif baharu e-Police Reporting. Perkhidmatan ini membolehkan orang ramai membuat laporan kemalangan trafik kecil tanpa perlu hadir ke balai polis yang berhampiran.<\/p>\n

Ujian rintis akan mula dilaksanakan dari 1 September 2025 di sepanjang Lebuhraya Utara Selatan (PLUS). Beberapa syarat ditetapkan untuk membuat laporan secara dalam talian tersebut seperti kenderaan yang terlibat mestilah milik persendirian, dan pihak yang terlibat tidak menyebabkan kecederaan atau kerosakan pada kenderaan lain atau harta benda awam ketika kemalangan.<\/p>\n

Menurut Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM), projek ini merupakan usaha pendigital inovatif yang mengintegrasikan kepakaran pihak polis dengan fungsi kawal selia kewangan negara, terutamanya melibatkan tuntutan insurans.<\/p>\n

Ia disasarkan dapat memperkasakan sistem pelaporan polis, menjadikan ia lebih komprehensif, cekap dan berintegrasi. Usaha rintis ini juga dijangka bukan sekadar meningkatkan kecekapan siasatan dan penguatkuasaan, malah dapat memperluaskan akses orang ramai untuk perkhidmatan polis melalui platform dalam talian yang lebih mesra dan telus.<\/p>\n

Pelaksanan program ini dijalankan dengan kerjasama di antara Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia (MOT), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), dan Pusat Pencegahan Jenayah Kewangan Nasional (NFCC). Projek rintis ini juga dilaksanakan dengan kerjasama industri insurans am dan takaful yang diterajui oleh Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) dan Persatuan Takaful Malaysia (Malaysian Takaful Association, MTA).<\/p>\n
