Menurut laporan oleh <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/world\/united-states\/trump-tariffs-on-china-now-at-least-145-as-trade-war-ramps-up\">The Straits Times<\/a><\/strong> dan <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.channelnewsasia.com\/world\/trump-tariff-hike-brings-added-china-rate-many-goods-145-5057991\">CNA<\/a><\/strong>, kenaikan tarif tersebut telah disahkan oleh The White House pada 10 April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Walaupun Trump baru-baru ini telah mengumumkan menangguhkan pelaksanaan tarif baharu ini dalam tempoh 90 hari kepada sejumlah rakan dagangannya, tekanan terhadap barangan import dari China kian memuncak. Angka baharu ini merupakan tambahan kepada tarif 20% yang diperkenalkan pada tahun ini atas tuduhan penglibatan China di dalam rantaian bekalan fentanyl.<\/p>\n<p>The White House menjelaskan tarif baharu 125% ini hanya dikenakan pada senarai baharu dan tidak melibatkan tarif terdahulu. Apabila dicampurkan dengan tindakan terdahulu, termasuk penalti yang dikenakan semasa pentadbiran dahulu, jumlah duti yang dikenakan terhadap kebanyakan barangan China kini mencecah 145%.<\/p>\n<p>Turut dinyatakan tarif 125% yang baharu diumumkan tidak meliputi seluruh barangan. Beberapa kategori produk utama diberikan pengecualian seperti keluli, aluminium, dan kenderaan yang telah dikenakan tarif berasingan 25% di bawah dasar yang berbeza.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam pada masa yang sama, barangan seperti kuprum, farmaseutikal, semikonduktor, kayu gergaji, dan produk-produk tenaga diberikan pengecualian.
