Bagaimanapun, perkara ini masih lagi bersifat spekulatif pada peringkat ini tanpa sebarang petunjuk konkrit ke arahnya.<\/p>\n<p>Dikenali sebagai pemprosesan untuk peranti mudah alih, Qualcomm telah mencapai kemajuan baharu dengan menawarkan pemprosesan berasaskan ARM untuk <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hteknologi.com\/blog\/lenovo-thinkpad-x13s-guna-snapdragon\/\">komputer laptop dan desktop<\/a><\/strong>, memberikan pilihan baharu selain dari teknologi Intel x86.<\/p>\n<p>Intel yang sebelum ini pernah menjadi syarikat semikonduktor terbesar mengikut nilai pasaran telah mengalami kemerosotan sejak beberapa tahun kebelakangan ini. Pesaing-pesaingnya seperti Qualcomm, Broadcom, Texas Instruments, dan AMD pula turut mencabar kedudukannya. Baru-baru ini juga Intel telah mengurangkan tenaga kerjanya dan menstrukturkan semula syarikat.<\/p>\n<p>Nilai pasaran Intel pada ketika ini berada di sekitar US$90 billion (~RM378 billion), dengan Qualcomm pula dianggarkan bernilai US$185 billion (~RM777 billion). Pengambil alihan tersebut jika berlaku dapat memperluaskan barisan produk Qualcomm. Di samping itu juga, ia dapat mengintegrasikan pemprosesan komputer peribadi dan pelayan Intel dengan perniagaan pemprosesan telefon pintar mudah alih sedia adanya.<\/p>\n<p>Kedua-dua syarikat juga sedang berusaha memanfaatkan ledakan penawaran kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence, AI) yang masa kini semakin diintegrasikan ke dalam telefon pintar komputer.
