Ia merupakan tujuan utama ROAR, sebuah projek usahasama dengan matlamat membangunkan penyelesaian pengangkutan pintar masa depan (<em>It is done without waking the sleeping families and without heavy lifting for the refuse truck\u2019s driver. This is the purpose of ROAR, a joint project with the aim to develop tomorrow\u2019s smart transport solutions<\/em>).\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Projek ini melibatkan usahasama di antara Volvo, dua buah universiti di Sweden,\u00a0Chalmers University of Technology dan\u00a0M\u00e4lardalen University, universiti Amerika Syarikat\u00a0Penn State University dan syarikat kitar semula bahan buangan Renova. Pihak-pihak yang terlibat di dalam projek ini turut membayangkan rupa bentuk robot ini lebih mirip kepada robot di dalam watak animasi Disney-Pixar, WALL-E.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Teknologi robotik berautonomi merupakan di antara bidang kepakaran Volvo.
