Bagaimanapun, kenderaan berkenaan berjaya diberhentikan perjalanannya\u00a0dengan bantuan penggodam dari pihak keselamatan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Insiden ini membuatkan syarikat induk Jeep,\u00a0Fiat Chrysler Automotive (FCA) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.media.chrysler.com\/newsrelease.do;jsessionid=7A4A415D8E0912E72E60D3929E34F525?&amp;id=16849&amp;mid=\" target=\"_blank\">menjadi cuak<\/a>. Mereka mula mengeluarkan pekeliling langkah-langkah keselamatan peringkat rangkaian bermula semalam untuk menghindari manipulasi dari jarak jauh melalui jaringan selular syarikat berkenaan. Tindakan ini setidak-tidaknya mampu mengelakkan kejadian yang sama dari berulang selain memberikan kelegaan buat para penggunanya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Namun, tidak cukup dengan itu, untuk meningkatkan lagi tahap keselamatannya, pihak FCA turut menawarkan khidmat panggilan semula secara sukarela terhadap sejumlah 1.4 juta kenderaan keluaran mereka di seluruh Amerika Syarikat. Pengguna yang disyaki berisiko tinggi untuk digodam akan diberikan sebuah peranti USB untuk melindungi kenderaan mereka dari diceroboh dan dieksploitasi oleh pihak luar. FCA juga menubuhkan pasukan keselamatan ICT khas untuk memantau pembangunan perisian dan juga sebarang kemungkinan kerentanan pada sistem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kenderaan keluaran Chrysler yang disyaki berisiko untuk digodam adalah terdiri dari model keluaran untuk pasaran Amerika Syarikat dari tahun 2013 dan ke atas termasuklah\u00a0Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Challenger, Chrysler 300 dan lain-lain.
