Pada asalnya, PLUS merancang untuk melaksanakan RFID di kesemua 83 plaza tol tertutup pada tahun lepas. Namun, rancangan tersebut terpaksa ditangguhkan berikutan perintah kawalan pergerakan.<\/p>\n<p>RFID merupakan kaedah pembayaran nirtunai yang menggunakan pelekat pada lampu depan atau cermin depan sesebuah kenderaan. Tidak seperti SmartTAG, RFID tidak memerlukan bateri dan kad fizikal Touch &#8216;n Go (TNG) untuk isian semula. Kesemua bayaran tol akan ditolak secara terus dari aplikasi <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hteknologi.com\/blog\/pengujian-rfid-touch-n-go-untuk-orang-awam-bermula-september-ini\/\">Touch &#8216;n Go eWallet<\/a><\/strong> pengguna.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Pembayaran tol secara nirtunai kini lebih mudah dengan RFID dan TNG eWallet<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ini mengurangkan keperluan untuk beratur membuat isian semula kad fizikal TNG memandangkan anda boleh terus membuat isian semula pada aplikasi berkenaan. RFID dan ANPR membenarkan kelajuan pandu lalu yang lebih tinggi pada 30km\/j, berbanding SmartTAG pada 20km\/j.<\/p>\n<p>Beliau berkata, ANPR boleh bertindak sebagai lapisan pengecaman identiti kedua bagi mengelakkan pengguna lebuh raya dikenakan tindakan apabila tersilap menggunakan kaedah pembayaran ketika memasuki lebuh raya. Ia juga boleh digunakan untuk membantu menyelesaikan isu-isu lain melibatkan salah faham ketika pembayaran.<\/p>\n<p>Sungguhpun sistem berkenaan menggunakan kamera beresolusi tinggi dan kecerdasan buatan, bantuan sokongan dari manusia masih lagi diperlukan untuk memastikan sistem berjalan dengan lancar. Pengecaman nombor plat dari manusia diperlukan bagi mengesan nombor plat yang rosak, kotor atau tidak menggunakan piawaian yang telah ditetapkan.<\/p>\n<p>Ketua Pegawai Teknologi PLUS, Kang Yew Jin menjelaskan kos pelaksanaan RFID adalah lebih rendah berbanding SmartTAG apabila penggunaannya semakin diperluaskan.
