Menurut konsortium tersebut, pihaknya baru sahaja menyiapkan Revision 0.3 untuk penyediaan spesifikasi PCIe 6.0 dan kini di dalam landasan yang betul untuk dilancarkan pada tahun 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Perkembangan mengagumkan ini berjaya dilaksanakan selepas PCI-SIG baru sahaja menyiapkan spesifikasi untuk PCIe 5.0. Spesifikasi berkenaan dikatakan menawarkan dua kali lebar jalur PCIe 4.0 pada 128GBps.<\/p>\n<p>Memandangkan lebar jalur PCIe 6.0 akan digandakan, papan induk keluaran tahun 2021 kelak akan menawarkan lebar jalur PCIe pada 256Gbps.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagaimana yang dijelaskan oleh PCI-SIG, pihak konsortium merancang untuk mencapai kelajuan lebar jalur yang tinggi melalui dua kemaskini spesifikasi.
