Tutorial Format Sendiri Telefon Pintar Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

Telefon pintar milik saya, Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 rosak malam tadi. Ia tidak dapat digunakan apabila berulangkali ia restart. Buntu sebentar malam tadi mengenangkan kemungkinan dompet saya akan rabak lebih awal sebelum pertengahan bulan.

Dalam fikiran, saya sudah berkira-kira untuk membeli telefon pintar secondhand yang berharga di bawah RM200 jika ianya tidak dapat dibaiki.

Saya cuba melakukan hard reset pada Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 saya dengan;

1. Tekan butang volume up + home + power secara serentak dalam beberapa saat untuk masuk ke Recovery Mode.
2. Guna butang volume untuk pergi ke wipe data/factory reset
3.  Kemudian, pilih Yes — delete all user (guna butang Home untuk pilih)
4. Seterusnya, pilih Reboot System Now

Amat mendukacitakan apabila usaha saya ini sia-sia apabila masalah yang sama masih lagi berulang. Ianya sama sahaja seperti saya tidak melakukan apa-apa. Geram sungguh hingga saya bawanya bersama ke dalam mimpi malam tadi.

Awal pagi, tatkala fed-up dengan telefon pintar saya ini, saya mentelaah punca kepada masalah ini di internet melalui enjin carian Google di pejabat.

Akhirnya, saya telah menemukan solusinya apabila saya merasakan saya perlu format sendiri Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 tersebut. Tutorial berkenaan cara format tersebut saya peroleh dari sini.

The Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 is one of Samsung’s very popular entry-level Android handsets.  When it was first released into the market, it originally came with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.  But, Samsung has already released an official update for the device, which will bring the phone’s firmware to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.

Also referred to as build DXLJ1, the firmware update ties up some of the loose ends in the original firmware build that came with the Galaxy Y when it first came out.  So, even though the new version is not as exciting as Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it may be worth updating your Galaxy Y with it.

This firmware update build DXLJ1 for the Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 should not be applied if you have a phone which is network-locked. Doing so might cause damage to your phone or could brick your phone.  Updating your handset to this firmware build will also make you lose root access (if you’ve previously rooted your phone).

Requirements

Complete the requirements below first before  you proceed to the installation instructions.

• Keep at least 50% battery charge (full charge preferred).
• Disable antivirus and other security tools on your computer and phone.
• Make a back up of all your important files and data in your phone.
• If you have Samsung KIES, close it completely (or uninstall it) and don’t back up data using this tool.
• DXLJ1 update package.  Get it here and save it to your computer.
• PIT file for the update and Odin3 v1.85 tools.  Get it here and save it to your computer.

Instructions

WARNING: We do not guarantee that these instructions will work for you.  Do not hold us responsible if you damage or brick your phone after you perform the procedure in this guide.

Here’ how to upgrade your device:

1. Enable USB Debugging mode on your device by going to Settings > Applications > Development.
2. Unpack the DXLJ1 update package that you have downloaded earlier.  It’s a RAR archive, so you will need RAR extraction software such as WinRAR to extract its contents.
3. Turn off your phone and reboot it into download mode. Do this by pressing the Volume Down key and the Home (middle) button simultaneously and then press the Power button.
4. Run Odin3 on your computer.
5. Connect  your phone to your PC. Odin3 will detect your phone automatically. Check the yellow ID:COM in Odin3. If you see this, it means that the drivers are successfully loaded.
6. In Odin3, load the files listed below into their respective tabs (highlighted in bold below). These files are are included in the archives that you have downloaded earlier.
   • PIT  —  totoro_0623.pit
   • PDA  —  PDA_S5360_DXLJ1.tar.md5
   • Phone  —  MODEM_S5360_DXLI1.tar.md5
   • CSC  —  CSC_S5360_OLBLG1.tar.md5
7. Under “Option” in Odin3, check only “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time”.  Leave the other options unchecked.
8. If you are done, click the Start button for the process to begin. If the update was successful your phone will restart.
9. Turn off your device and enter into recovery mode.
10. While in recovery mode, select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” and “Wipe Cache Partition”.
11. Reboot your device.
12. Go to Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version and check whether it displays “Android 2.3.6 DXLJ1″.

Congratulations! You have successfully updated your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread build DXLJ1.

Mujurlah ada kemudahan internet sekarang ini. Kalau tidak, mungkin saya terpaksa membawa telefon saya yang rosak ini ke kedai untuk dibaiki. Entah berapalah harga yang akan dikenakan untuk kerja-kerja pembaikan yang sebenarnya kita sendiri pun boleh lakukannya dengan bantuan internet.

Salah faham yang paling kerap saya ketemukan terhadap kaki internet adalah semuanya jenis peminat bahan pornografi. Tidak dinafikan, melalui internet akses terhadap pornografi lebih mudah berbanding melalui media-media yang terdahulu. Tetapi, ianya berbalik kepada sifat individu-individu yang menggunakannya. Jika anda adalah seorang yang beriman dan berakhlak mulia, iman anda tidak akan berganjak walau bahan pornografi tersebut cuma perlu ditaip alamat domain pada browser sahaja.

Kalau sudah kaki porno tegar tu, walau bagaimana hebat blocking yang telah dibuat network admin pun tetap mahu dipecahkannya. Asalkan, hasrat untuk menyimpan koleksi kandungan pornografi itu tercapai. Walhal, di Malaysia ini sudah banyak inisiatif dilakukan untuk menyekat kandungan terlarang tersebut dari akses. Pihak MAMPU juga telah menyekat laman-laman pornografi tertentu dari di akses oleh IP-IP pengguna di Malaysia.

Justeru, adalah amat mendukacitakan apabila para pencinta internet di Malaysia ini disalah ertikan matlamat penggunaan teknologi maklumat ini. Internet bukanlah sekadar bertujuan untuk perkara-perkara negatif sahaja. Banyak manfaat yang boleh kita peroleh daripadanya andai kita semua tidak menyalahgunakannya.
